Versatile

The Amputee Sling in Polyester fabric allows for fast and easy sling application making
this sling ideal for most lifting situations. The Polyester Net fabric allows the sling to be
used in a bathing or showering environment as well as for rehabilitation pools. A user of
this sling must have good head control. The slightly reclined position helps prevent the
patient from sliding out of the sling.

Extra Support

The Amputee Sling features a reinforced back and to offer additional support throughout
the back area for those users with poor trunk stability as well as reinforced legs. The
Amputee Sling can be used with or without an optional waist belt that is available in an
assortment of sizes with a Velcro or buckle closure. The unique design offers the added
benefit that the patient can have their arms inside or outside the sling, depending on their capabilities.

Easy Care and Easy Fit

Our slings are manufactured to the highest quality standards. They feature reinforced
straps and high strength nylon webbing around the sling to make them strong enough
to resist even the most active use. Each sling label is colour coded to ensure quick and easy
selection of the correct sling and the straps are colour coded for easy determination of
required positioning.
